There may be doctrinal disagreements between him and I, but one of my oldest friends ( derelict52)understands that first and foremost, the duty of every Christian is to live the faith the way he or she sees it, with humility, charity, hope, wisdom and justice. Most Christians that I've met tend to emphasize one or two at the expense of the others. Some "Christians" don't even try -- their faith isn't lived, it's just an excuse to justify things, usually their own power over others.
But my friend, in my opinion, lives all these qualities to the best of his human abilities. And that is awesome.
